08.15.03 The world has turned and my luck has changed. Everything worked out and new pics will be up Friday. Thanks to Doron for letting my promote my sites on his show. -Jen- 08.14.03 As tempted as I am just to delete the below entry, I won't. I'm not the sort of person that can smooze so why the heck am I doing this site? This is something I was thinking the other night. I went up to see the Damned in Tampa and really was too interested in the show (and drinks) to take pictures. At the end of the night, I thought I'd get a couple of interesting people. Now, Tampa people are very nice and all, but for some reason, you ask them if you can take a picture of their shoes and they get snooty, rude even. So that was a realitive bomb. And, I had planned on having a bunch of local bands come through the station this Thursday, but it seems the station is still not working. Maybe the site's jinxed. -Jen- 08.07.03 Some glitches to work out and more pictures to take, so our big official national launch will be the 15th. So if you're reading this now, consider yourself part of the lucky few. I really didn't expect to get all the cool emails about the site I've gotten. I mean, I've only had one critic. I expected a lot more comments involving the words "crazy," "lame" "waste," etc. etc. I was busy worrying about other things, mainly school, to get out and take pictures this week. I do have some activities planned (gawd, I sound like a preschool teacher) for the next few weeks so I will have a ton of new pictures soon. -Jen- |
